G8NXD's HF ATU

This page describes my version of the Norcal BLT ATU with modifications firstly by N5FC and then by myself. All I've done is to remove L3 and tap into the L2 coil for both the Hi impedance and the Lo impedance windings. This makes it easier to wind the toroid and enables a thicker wire to be used for the windings. And here is the Aerial I use with the ATU. The insulaters are made from plastic PlantPot Labels drilled with suitable sized holes and the wires either glued with Hot Glue or with Heatshrink sleeving.
